I have been hearing people say the blazers are the team to watch in the playoffs, but I have disagreed since day 1. I'll say it right now: BRANDON ROY IS OVERRATED. Many of you will disagree, but it will show this post season. With a healthly Yao Ming, the strength of Ron Artest, and the best player you never heard of, LUIS SCOLA, the Rockets will make it out of the first round and affect the playoffs this year. The Blazers are a good young team, but will disappoint because of the inconsistency in the offense, overrated team defense, and GREG ODEN who can never stay healthy. Go Yao!!!!

The U.S.A. baseball team got owned in their own game. Now I know most dont really care for baseball, so let give you a quick history lesson on U.S.A. baseball: the U.S.A. claims to be the best in baseball simply because they "invented" the sport, they have the best professional baseball league, the MLB, and the U.S.A. is the U.S.A. and they are expected to win every major sporting events. My point is the U.S.A has this swag of arrogance when it comes to baseball but they had another reality check tonight. The WBC (World Baseball Classic) is a tournament with teams representing their countries. In 2006 the U.S.A. team placed 6th place. Anything less of 1st place is unacceptable and to make sure they did not have another lame team, the country gathered some of its best young talent to go up against the best the world has to offer. So to make a long story short the U.S. played against Japan on sunday night with the winner going to the championship. Make a long story short...Japan beat that ass! The final score was 9-4.

SIDENOTE: Japan v. South Korea for the WBC title.

What a performance by LeBron James! King James put the Cavs on his back and carried them to victory over the Phoneix not so hot Suns. James recored his third straight triple-double by dropping 34 points, dishing out 13 assists, gobbling up 10 rebounds, and also adding 3 steals and 3 blocks. Talk about filling up the stat sheet. Besides the impressive triple-double by James, I was more amazed that he played so hard to get this win for the Cavs. The Cavs are already a lock for the playoffs, but James stated earlier this week that he will continue to play and try to lock up home court advantage throughout the playoffs, showing his commitment to being the leader of the Cavs and the desire he has to win the Cleveland Cavaliers their first NBA title. GG LeBron, GG.
